| RAINWATER COLLECTION | |
| STANDARD RAINWATER KIT Each kit accommodates both gutters with stop ends at one end and outlets, pipes and additional fittings at the other. Water can be drained into a barrel or directed into a grid or garden. All fittings are in matt black pvc with UVI protection. |  |
| CONNECTING GUTTER Similar to the standard rainwater kit, but a traverse pipe travels across the back of the greenhouse to a T junction which effectively connects both gutters to one outlet. The outlet can be drained into a barrel or directed into a grid or garden. |  |
| WATER BARREL This rigid moulded plastic barrel with a capacity of 46 gallons (210 litres) incorporates a tap and lid and when combined with the rainwater kit, the collection of water from the gutters becomes a comparatively easy task. Plants thrive better on natural rainwater, and therefore collection from the gutter is essential. |  |
| AUTOMATIC OPENERS | |
| It is important to have an adequate number of vents in the greenhouse to increase air flow and avoid excessive temperatures. | |
| ELITE AUTOMATIC ROOF VENT OPENER The Elite opener offers fully automatic greenhouse ventilation and it works by means of solar energy. It opens the window completely 45cm (18") which means maximum ventilation per window and an ideal climate for greenhouse plants. No drilling is required and it can be fitted to all greenhouse makes. This unit has a temperature range of 15 to 25 degrees C and is suitable for lifting upto 7 kilos (15lbs). The Bayliss MK7 and Bayliss XL are also available. |  |
| ELITE AUTOMATIC LOUVER OPENER This louver vent opener ensures fully automatic opening and closing of your louvre window according to changes in temperature. It requires no energy supply, it works by means of solar power. The vent can be adjusted to start opening at a temperature ranging from 16 to 25 degrees C and fits all common louvre windows. Additional louver windows are also available. |  |
| It is important to have a combination of roof and side vents to improve air circulation. Louvre vents are particularly useful and relatively easy to incorporate into existing Elite greenhouse structures. | |
| SHELVES | |
| Elite's shelves are made of aluminium to give maintenance free structure which won't rust or rot in humid greenhouse conditions. They come in kit form which are easy to assemble. With shelves and staging, a greenhouse can be turned into a well equipped area for growth and display. | |
| EXTRUDED SHELVES This rigid extruded aluminium shelf is extremely strong and robust available in 3 sizes 4'1.5", 6'2", 8'2". When bolted to the side or end of the greenhouse it forms an integral part of the building, giving the model additional strength as well as a useful practical shelf. Extruded shelves come complete with fittings and can be powder coated at an additional cost. |  |
| SHEET ALUMINIUM These versatile shelves are 10" wide and are available in three lengths, 37", 47" and 60". The aluminium is formed into a tray which sits on top of alloy brackets. The tray can be flat or inverted, depending on use. |  |
| SHELF BRACKETS Aluminium shelf brackets are supplied in pairs complete with cropped headed bolts for fixing in aluminium greenhouses. The idea of the shelf brackets is so that any material, e.g. timber, aluminium, steel, etc, can sit safely on top of the bracket. |  |
| BITS and PIECES | |
| DOOR LOCKS Aluminium bracket attached to the framework which facilitates the use of a padlock to key lock the door. This system is available for both single or double door greenhouses and includes a padlock and key. |  |
| CANTILEVER Aluminium T bar in 12" or 24" lengths used as eave or ridge bracing. These afford the greenhouse additional strength at these two points. Available in mill finish or colour coated. |  |
| NUTS and BOLTS Elite offer the highest quality accessories and fixing aids. Elite's nuts and bolts are aluminium which means they will not rust and therefore last longer. Full and Cropped headed bolts (for fixing without dismantling the frame) are available in two lengths (11mm and 22mm). |  |
| DOOR WHEELS Plastic door wheel with self lubricating ball race in two sizes: 28mm and 32mm (most commonly 28mm is used). These wheels afford finger tip control for doors. |  |
| LINING HOOKS These are used to attach lining (e.g. bubble plastic, netting etc). The plug is pushed through the lining material and then twisted and locked into position in the glazing bar. |  |
| WIRE CLIPS This clip is in self colour stainless steel and is butterfly shaped. It attaches to the side of the glass ensuring that the glass is tight against the glazing bar. |  |
| OVERLAP CLIPS This clip is aluminium and has the flexibility of allowing for glass tolerance as it is pre-formed at the top and is formed at the bottom by hand during greenhouse glazing. |  |
| SPRING CLIPS Self colour stainless steel will not rust and in addition to holding the glass firmly against the glazing bar, it also acts as an overlap support. |  |
| HEATERS | |
| Elite offer a range of heaters including electric, paraffin and gas heaters. | |
| PARAFFIN Paraffin heaters have no thermostats so are on, whatever the temperature. |  |
| ELECTRIC Heating by electricity maintains a drier growing environment. |  |
| GASS Supplied with hose and regulator, extra feet for stability. CO2 sensor. Heat output up to 4.2 KW. |  |

| SHADING and INSULATION | |
| BUBBLE PLASTIC Bubble plastic is an economical way of 'double glazing' your greenhouse. The starter kit consists of 100' x 2'4" (suitable for an 8' x 6' greenhouse) and is complete with uniquely designed snap caps for the insulation to be attached to the framework (caps are not sold seperately). It is UVI treated and guaranteed for 5 years against discoloration. Its installation will extend plant life and enable earlier propagation of plants. |  |
| NETTING Netting provides a good shade system for plants that are over exposed to the sun, e.g. if one side of the roof is facing south, scorching of leaves can take place. The netting helps to dissipate the sun's rays and prevent burning. Each kit is 20' x 6' and comes complete with necessary fittings to attach it to the inside of the framework. Available in green or white. |  |
